	Middle School Technology Here at Maranacook Community Middle School, we are very fortunate to be a part of the Maine Learning Technology Initiative or MLTI program. As a part of this program, all 7th and 8th grade students are given MacBook laptops to use at school. We also allow students to take the laptops home to continue their learning. Please see the "Take Home Guidelines" to find out how that works. These laptops are full of wonderful programs that really make a difference in not only how students learn but also how they organize and complete their work. It's been very exciting to see students show evidence of their learning in so many exciting ways! Please visit Maine Learning Technology Initiative to find out the exciting ways technology is being used in Maine! The 6th grade students at Maranacook have also been given laptops to use in a one-to-one environment. Our school was able to purchase the old MLTI laptops last year. We are proud to be able to support a one-to-one environment for the whole school!
