Class B Truck Driving Offered to Maranacook High School Seniors

During the 2018-19 school year, eligible Maranacook High School seniors will be able to learn to drive Class B vehicles. Class B vehicles include a long list of big trucks, including garbage trucks, dump trucks, buses, fuel tankers, box trucks and more. Class B drivers are also one of the highest needed labor positions in the United States.

Through a close working relationship with area CDL class B truck driving companies, students who successfully complete the CDL training and state CDL licensure requirements will leave school with the ability to earn a starting wage of $20-25 per hour with most companies also offering health benefits and retirement plans.
