MCMS Technology Explorers won 1st and 3rd for their division in the 3D Printing and Design Expo on March 7th at KVCC. Teams of students had to come up with a problem, connect it to Maine and design a 3D printed solution. All four of our competing teams did excellent! The projects presented included: a prosthetic aid, ski & pole carrier, poop collector and book display. Individual student prizes awarded were 3D focus books and 3D printing pens. The school also will be receiving a FlashForge Finder Printer and 2 spools of PLA filament! We thank the Perloff Foundation for generously providing these awards. Both Mrs Florek and Mrs Churchill are very proud of these students for their perseverance and creativity. We think they were all winners and made our school proud.
