Twelve talented Maranacook Community Middle School students submitted work to the Earth Day Poster Contest put on by the Environmental Club. The theme for the contest was "Be the Change". The Maranacook Education Foundation made it possible to purchase frames for the top four pieces. Posters were voted on by area artists. All 12 submissions are hanging in the Middle School display case. MEF also provided funds to give prizes:

All twelve entrants will receive a 51st Earth Day sticker (seen here)
and the 8 honorable mentions will get a $5 Fielder's Choice gift card.
