The MARANACOOK AREA FOOD PANTRY is announcing a fundraiser to support our work through the summer.

All this year we have been consistently serving 18 - 20 families in all four towns through curbside pick up and delivery services.  Weekly, we have been able to provide them with fresh vegetables, breads, and meats, in addition to shelf-stable items. The Augusta Food Bank has also partnered with us to provide backpack snack bags for our students in need.  We also work in partnership with the Mt. Vernon Food Bank and the Winthrop Food Bank to make sure we are meeting the needs of our area families and to make sure that no food items go to waste.

To continue this important work, we need your help.  We currently spend roughly $500 per week to help our families.  Thanks to our incredibly generous community members, we have been able to keep going throughout this challenging school year.  In order to continue our work through the summer, we need to replenish our funds.

If you can help our families in need by making a donation, please send a check to:
